Greek proverb: δῆρόν τε μένειν, κενεόν τε νεέσθαι

Αἰσχρόν τοι δῆρόν τε μένειν κενεόν τε νεέσθαι.
Turpe est et mansisse diu vacuumque redire.
It is a shameful thing to have stayed away a long time and to come back empty.
